Kinda hard to do with my phone, but this'll give you the gist. It actually screws up into the rear lug on the upper for the rear takedown pin. I can get a better picture when I have the grip off one day of the under side. Flat head screw just behind the grip screw. This picture you'll see the buffer tube on your right it's the white piece down in the hole

I won't need to use it on this setup, but it's a cool feature that I'm not sure too many offer

Good deal. Once I get the package from you and one other (upper receiver finally shipped thank god) I'll be close to having my final build complete. Just need a few more parts once I take care of some other stuff and decide exactly how I wanna finish it

Went ahead and ordered my Magpul MBUS BUIS last night and ladder rail covers, of you've been following this thread at all you can tell I'm not a patient person, though I try to be. Those are items I was going to buy down the road, but ah well

I"m noticing prices are already starting to get better. AR Stripped receivers aren't going for $400-$600 now. Kinda funny seeing some of the dumbass gouging idiots still asking for it with Buy It Now and Reserves but noone is even viewing those auctions. I like it !!!

I've started noticing that too, gives me hope. I'm so glad I haven't paid gouged prices for any of my stuff. That's not to say that I haven't paid prices that are on the high end of what I would call normal, but then again everything is right now

Yeah I'd say at least that long. That's why I'm mostly shooting my 9mm carbine with cheap steel case ammo. I'll still find a decent deal on steel case every few weeks, so maybe that'll get me by. I'll have to wait until things get back semi-normal until I go back to shooting 1,000 round Saturdays

Same reason why I went with a 7.62x39 build first and now I'm considering doing a 5.45x39 build next. I really want to do a 5.56 build but I'm not paying close to $1 per round for it. 300blk is stupid expensive right now when you can find it.

Well...something else came in today...Troy handguard in the 9" fashion. Everything is just mocked up, of all dang things I'm waiting on, it's a barrel nut to get everything together. Then BCG and I'm shooting. Sorry about taking crappy phone pictures on the same old crappy carpet. I've already decided when it gets finished I'm going to do some artsy fartsy cool pictures with some of my guns

Haha she should be a fun little booger. I'm itching to fill out a form 1 though. Wish I knew someone in my area that could engrave my lower

Why not strip the lower back down and send it off to get engraved? What do you want engraved on it?

That's probably the route I'd go. With the form 1 don't I have to have my name, city and stuff engraved since now I'm the manufacturer going from class one to class two? I've read probably umpteen hundred threads on it, and never come up with a definitive answer. I've had all kinds of weapons, but never sbr'd anything

Well, she's done (I think) minus bcg which should be in Monday. I'm not really sure if I'm feeling the full ladder rail cover or not. I put my Magpul BUIS on there but the odds of me using them are slim to none so I just took them off and I'll put them on the rifle build. And how about an atta boy for moving from the carpet to the couch to take pictures? Still using the phone though

The foliage looks mint green in these pictures lol. If the thing goes boom and runs there will be video soon
