Trigger pull

What do you think is the best trigger pull weight on a 45 acp ? I had one done at 3.5lbs and I think it is a little light for CCW. The other 2 are 4lbs and 5.5 lbs.
Target guns can have lighter triggers , If CCW gun is taken away by LEO's for shooting and is processed for refinements it will work against you.

For a carry gun, I would say around 5 pounds is pretty good. I wouldn't go much lighter. For a target gun on the other hand...

This is a 1911 and it was 4.5 from the factory and after a trigger job came back with the clean 3.5.

1911's are a little different case because of having both a manual safety and a grip safety.

The trigger is real sweet but the ramifications of the courts are a F--ked up. My default is a Glock .

For carry on a 1911 5-6 as a minimum. For competition I like 1.5-2max.
