oh, i dont get pissed off. i just think a bit on the extreme side when this comes up. usually its the other people who get pissed.

What do I think we should do? Make a big ass hole in the ground with a plaque that reads "here lies what once was North Korea", but I'm kind of extreme. It only takes them saying they'd do that to us for me to want to make an example out of them.

I agree, we are weakened compared to what we were before starting 2 wars. But, Obama is going to keep us weak and not rebuild our military as we use it's resources.

I'm no expert but from what I've read, all it would take is a large enough nuclear explosion in space to create an EMP. I believe the burst needs to be over the area they want to affect.

Yeah, if you want to go back in time and live like the original settlers. Raise and grow your own food. Ride your horse to town. There may be some vehicles that continue to run (pre electronic diesels) but how do you get fuel? You could forget your 9 to 5 job. Your full time profession just became survival.

Not to mention no warning system for anything. Big storms would really suck if you're not prepared.

Yeah, they're out there. Some think 2 weeks is enough. Gotta prepare for the long haul.
At least to survive through a growing season. If you have a good crop come in then you can eat some and can some for the winter.
