I think if someone did nuke them..that certainally China wouldn't standby idly..they would react immediately and not thru the U.N. either. But North Korea knows it would not win in a war...so I guess closet thing is saber rattling by test firing missiles into the ocean and broadcasting propoganda rhetoric when it suits them, knowing that China will stand with them.

That's the other thing. Why would they want to shoot Nukes at us??? They'd never get anywhere near us before they were shot down in route. It would probably have more of their own people glowing in the dark than it would us.

If they truly mean to do us harm, all they need to do is put one of their nukes on a satellite and detonate it over the U.S. (EMP). Has the potential of putting us back 200 years. Possibly kill the electrical grid, cars and just about anything electronic. Then if they wanted to invade, we'd never see them coming. They already have a satellite that goes over us 4 times a day. All they need to do is put a large nuke on the next one.
