Beretta PX4 .40 cal purchase

I am going to buy a Beretta PX4 Storm .40 cal model F full size. Any comments positive or negative are appreciated.

I had a Berretta 92fs m1a1 when they were standard siderm in the military. it was a great gun but traded to go up in caliber to a glock 30 im not that familier with the px4 but have heard good reveiews on it. Not had any first hand experience with the PX4 but if it is half the gun my CX4 is you will be happy.

I don't own one, but I have shot my buddys. He doesn't use it for an EDC, but for just taking to the range, and home protection, it's a very nice shooter. As far I know, he's never had any reliability issues with it.

Had one and traded it for a ruger Sr 556.

Large handgun definitely not edc. Shot well fed well. Just too big in my hand and I have large hands.

I had the 9mm version for awhile. It was o.k. but I'm not the biggest Beretta fan. We got it for my wife who loved the feel of it but she was having a big problem with limp wristing it. She does not have the same issues with any of my other semi-autos. I finally sold it.

See if you can shoot it first. I don't have any Beretta's for a reason. Would like some of there field guns. My wife loves CZ's for there fit to her hands. I don't. They both make fine guns.Florida Highway Patrol carried Beretta's for years until they stopped making that model in 40 S&W. Now they carry Glock in 45 gap. Go figure.

The px4 is a great platform. I have the type f full size in 45acp and it's comfortable shoots very well. You won't be disappointed.

I had the exact model you are looking at - I traded it off. Unless I was incredibly careful, the trigger would jerk me off target quite often. I wasn't at all impressed with the accuracy. As a pistol, it was interesting, see here,

I traded it off, and don't regret it.

I have the type F in .45acp and have nothing but love for the pistol. It's been very accurate and fun to shoot. Very little recoil as well and damn sexy to boot.
