I have come up to a conclusion my little knowledge in weapons can't overcome all of the weapons used. In Syria there's a proxy war that lasts for more than 4 years. In this war ( which most people refer to as the 'Civil War' ) we find great use of weapons, from the common AK-47 up to MLRS and other artillery ordnance.
I will upload from time to time videos showing weapons used in battles across Syria. Sometimes it will come with a query, like this post, and sometimes with my humble explanation.
This time- The Aleppo based Rebel group named " Nour Adin aZenky"after the former Seljuk leader of Aleppo - meaning "The Light of The Religion, son of Zenky". Nour Adin was a Seljuk leader at the 12th century who vowed to take down the Crusaders who started to invade the Middle East. He was one of the first Muslim leaders to stand against the crusaders and even managed to defeat Baldwin, King of Jerusalem. Saladin once mentioned him as someone who inspired him. The rebels were inspired as well and vowed to take Assad and his proxy allies too.
The weapon used there is a 12.78 mm Caliber ( Half Inch ) but I don't think it's a browning M2 ( even though the body looks similar) and not the a Russian similar like the Dushka.
