So what Gun Related stuff did you buy this week?

Made in Turkey. Range report might be a while because my work schedule sucks but I will give one as soon as I can. My initial impression is that it appears well made and is much nicer than the price would suggest. It comes with 5 choke tubes cylinder, skeet, improved cylinder, modified, and full. It also includes shims to adjust the stock.

Turkey makes some nice guns. I have a Legacy Sports Escort semi auto 12ga. It is made in Turkey by Hatsan Arms Co. and it's put together very nicely. It was also a good value. Any of the other name brands were considerably more expensive for a comparable gun.

WOOT! I just WON a gun - I won our 4x4 club raffle (it was keyed to the PA Lottery evening Pick 3, so I sure couldn't RIG it!

It's a Sigma 9mm compact, OR... another gun of equal or lesser value, OR... store credit (roughly - $400 - $450; I'll hafta think on it a bit). And since I sold the winning ticket to MYSELF, I get the $50 prize for SELLING the winning ticket, too! :favorites37:

I picked up a new clay thrower, the Champion Wheeley Bird, and took the new shotgun out. Both performed flawlessly. Rather than cleaning and oiling the gun first as I should have, I shot it straight out of the box with a variety of shells including a bunch of cheap 1 ounce dove loads and even some light target loads and she cycled all without a single issue. The only negative, which I already figured, is that I will definitely be installing the included shim to add a little more drop to the stock as the comb is a little high for me. It is comparable to Winchester 1300 where as I prefer a little more drop like a Remington 870.

What model? I bought a Leupold Mark AR about 5 - 6 years ago, when they were under $250 - I see 'em pushing $500 now! :boxed:

So when she saw it on Xmas Day she was really excited. Then she gave me that look and said, "Wait a minute. I know you. What gun did I buy you for Xmas?"
I showed her this:
And I just received the hi-vis fiber optic sights from TandemKross for the MK IV pictured above. I have a few other items in shipping right now, namely some more magazines, some magazine bumpers and a holster. All that should be here by the end of the week!
