Based on recommendations from this forum I went to midway to check and found something I liked.
I already own a very nice perfectly sized Holster for Ruger GP100 4 inch.
The one I already had was a Mitch Rosen Express Line GP100, but since it lacked any features to secure the gun I considered it more of a competition holster and I wanted more of a working holster.
This new one is a Galco S&W 686 4", right hand tan.
The holster fits perfect and is comfortable to wear.
The fact that its a 40oz Revolver made me tighten up my belt to hold it securely.
The Holster seems to hold the weapon very well is comfortable to reach, does not get in the way of normal activity.
I am wearing it right now in front of the computer w/o issues so this tells me it will be comfortable for vehicle wear as well.
Also has a pleasant gun-oily smell to it.
