First Glock!

My honest opinion, I'd pass. Most USED Glock 22's are Police trade ins. Those guys are REQUIRED to practice and train. Those guns have probably been heavily used. Depending on the department, usally 4-6 years is service life of a duty weapon. I'd say it's well used and for $150 more, you can have brand new, I'd go for the additional $150 which is a little more than the cost of a new barrel. JMO

for $329... i ordered it, ill throw in a new spring and see what happens. I hear people say police trade ins are worn out, then i also hear people say police glocks arent used all that much... maybe ill get lucky and get a good one. if not im sure i could sell it for what i paid (i hope. lol)

they shipped it the same day, another 10 days or so and ill have it, guess we'll see

Most departments don't practice nearly enough. If it does not feel right send it to Glock and they will bring it up to date.

No need for a new triggar bar, Glocks have an short reset.... Do what you want but be carefull...........G19
:badidea:

IIRC, it's still a 5.5lb trigger, you can do the 3.5 trigger and Tactical Spring Kit and a very noticeable difference. That's usualy the first mod most do after polishing. May as well just go for it and it's usually polished already depending on which one you get.

Someone else on here was saying they bought 2 .22 rifles today, one for them and one for their daughter and said they get to pick them up on the 12th !!! WTF is that shit about? Used to in OK, if you were a CCW carrier, you filled out the form and done. You walked out with it like you bought a quart of oil. Not Now. Now they have to call it in, and it usually takes about 10 minutes, then you can carry it out with you. Of course at Wally World, if you buy one there, they escort you to the door and they carry it. So if you want something else then it's a good idea to go shop and get that paid for while you waiting for the ATF check approval.

Indeed, I'm from OK too, (Edmond) and I just walk right out that door after about a 10 minute phone call:chewie:

Light trigger on glocks great for competition but not so good for carry!!!!. Carry what the cops carry for lawyer protection in shooting.JMTO
