Chattanooga shooting

Just east of Tacoma the other day, there were about seven armed civilians guarding a recruitment office along a strip mall. But the property management was getting complaints from joe citizens that these guys were making them nervous in their tac gear and weapons and so the local sheriff had a talk with these guys (some were former veterans) and politely told them he understood why they were there but they better leave...so they did. I say arm the recruiters and take down those "Gun Free Zone" window stickers for a start..

Terrorist, whether home grown or have illegally come across the border are here. I think this will only continue to get worse. All people need to arm themselves. These attacks are so random that the authorities cannot predict when and where they are going to happen. It's going to take someone at the scene to stop the threat.

Or just disarm every body and stop producing ammo and knives and put Quaalude in the water supply .

After a gunman killed four Marines and a sailor at a Navy Reserve Center in Chattanooga last month, the Navy plans to station armed guards at all of its reserve centers across the country, NBC News has learned.

An email sent to Naval Reservists nine days after the attack, and obtained by NBC News, says "VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!" to provide 45 days of "armed sentry watchstander duty" at 53 "NOSCs," or Navy Reserve Centers, beginning Aug. 17, and also asks for volunteers to provide a full year of armed sentry duty at 70 reserve centers starting Oct. 17.

The Navy confirmed to NBC News that it plans to station armed personnel at all 70 reserve centers that are not located on military bases. The guards would be reservists called to active duty on an all-volunteer basis.

What about Army and Air Force reserve centers??

Just rescind the order keeping military personnel from carrying and the problem is solved. IMO there is a very remote chance something like this will ever happen again. It's not like there's a pattern of recruitment center shootings we need to be prepared for. But they need to be able to defend themselves in the event there are any future attacks no matter where they are.
