California Passes Ammo Permit Fee

Make sure you watch the video at the end

Requiring a $50 ammo permit per purchase would make a box of defensive ammunition cost almost $100 for 20 rounds—that’s $2 per bullet. A box of 50 rounds of 22 Long Rifle ammunition (which would normally cost less than $2), would now cost $52 dollars. That’s over $1 per bullet for 22 Long Rifle ammunition. Essentially, the left is trying to make the cost of defending ourselves (a God-given right as proclaimed by our Founders and the Constitution) so high that we cannot afford to do so.

Indeed we are in trouble.. Make it so legal citizens can't afford it so it becomes a even larger black market with guns, ammo, rpgs, which are obtained illegally. Great Solution.....JMO

Since their attempt to go after our guns didn't get any traction, they'll go after our bullets. I think they suspected this all along and have been buying up as much ammo as they can. Yes, I believe it's possible the government has something to with how difficult it is to find ammo. It's not just gun owners keeping the shelves empty.

Now we have a state implementing an ammo background check to keep law abiding people from getting ammo or having to spend a whole lot more for it than necessary. Look for it to be an executive order coming to a town near you. The 2nd amendment protects your guns. I don't believe it says anything about your ammo. Once you shoot your last round, your gun becomes a useful as a hammer.

History definetly repeats itself.... just like clothing comes back in style. When ammo is too expensive for the a very age citizen it will be back to the stoneages. It does not matter thought, man has been killing man without firearms for years..... I have been picking up things that will benifet me in case the SHTF.
Grabbed a machette, some Gerber pocket knifes, and looking for a sure light to paint my targets.....
