My New Xterra

Sold my 2015 Xterra since I dindt want that much money tied up in a vehicle.
Got me a 2005 Xterra 4x4 in Off Road trim (this adds electronically lockable rear diff, upgraded suspension, hill descent control)

Added wheels/tires off a 2015 PRO4X to the truck to make it look more like the one I sold.

82,000 miles have about 11k in it now.

Nice rig. I've always liked the looks of those. Someday I want to transplant a Cummins 4BT into a Dodge Dakota 4x4 Chassis. That would be a cool EMP proof truck. All the 4BT needs is a battery to turn it over. It's all mechanical. No computer to get fried.

Your truck is good size and looks very post-apocalyptic

But i live in an urban environment and one of my parameters for EXFIL was a handier lenght/widht so I could squeeze thru sidewalks etc in a pinch.

I live 4 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Mine's designed to push all the Escalades & Navigators off the road, of all the mommies heading to Kohl's & Macy's "End-of-the-world-sale" when the Apocalypse hits! :favorites37:

This is my shtf vehicle. If it still runs. In the event of an EMP the computer may be fried. But I have another computer in a safe location so hopefully I could get it going again. I really wish it had an older mechanical diesel in it. Maybe someday. I've got a front hitch on it that receives a 12K winch. So if the 4x4 isn't enough, the winch will pull it out.
