I like it but it's a little too beefy for my taste. I know that sounds weird but it doesn't match up well with the lower very good. I guess that means it will never break tho.

I also cannot put into words how incredibly awesome this thing feels to shoot. I don't recommend shooting it if you have a heart condition, the concussion is incredible.

That would be my guess bud. What ammo were you using? Since it looks like it's ejecting fine, I think it's over gassed. Bear in mind I'm no expert, but I've been reading the crap out of the ar15.com threads lol.

Heavy buffer might fix it. Read up on it and see what you think

Using regular 55gr FMJ from Academy in 5.56. I'm actually positive it's not the ammo.

I'm thinking about ordering the pigtail pistol gas tube from Phase 5. I don't really want to mess with the buffer yet since this is the same lower I use on my 300BLK pistol for the time being.

Good deal, that was gonna be my other suggestion. I hear the flaming pig will increase dwell time too, but I'm not sure how that works. I just got lucky, shot mine today with wolf 223 and lake city 556 and it ran good. Only thing I had trouble with is my charging handle doesn't want to pull back and load the first round, only wants to pull back about an inch with a loaded mag. It works freely without a magazine so I'm stumped. I just used the bolt assist today and I'll try to figure her our tomorrow

I'm happy with it and it only didn't lock back on the last round once so maybe it was a fluke.

I also had a weird problem where the charge handle was really hard to get to come back and that was with only 20 rounds in the mag but I think it was operator error.

I'm actually gonna leave it alone unless it starts to really act up.
