Actually those are CG non-regulation flotation devices..to be used only in emergencies or after six months at sea.

If you live anywhere around water they are best friend, I was saved from a fishing vessel in Gulf Of Mexico a few years back. Very scary for me due to my health issues, I would not have made it if not for the Hello and rescue swimmer. We started to gain water around 2 pm and Coast Guard had us safe around 7 pm.........god bless'em.......

The Guard specs out our equipment at the ECF's. I am stopping by the USCG Station on Treasure Island next week...
