Took the nephew and a few guns out today

First of all today was more about enjoying the day with the nephew and putting a few rounds down range in a couple of firearms that I hadn't shot yet. We also brought along a few others just for the heck of it. Here's a quick list of what we brought and approximate rounds through each. My nephew got hooked on the 10/22 and the p238. I thought I was gonna have to fight him for a chance to shoot either. I would've felt bad getting my ass kicked by a 13 year old

1. SBR in 300blackout - 160 rounds (1st time out with this gun)
2. Ruger 10/22 - 350 rounds
3. Sig p238 - 150 rounds (1st time out also)
4. Sig 1911 - 100 rounds
5. Rossi .243 - 30 rounds (Nephew's cheap deer gun)

I put a few rounds through the SBR and got it somewhat dialed in (still needs some adjustment).

1st 20 rounds of remington umc 115 grain at 50 yards

Right before we left 20 rounds of remington umc, 20 rounds of pnw arms 147 grain and 20 rounds of hornady v-max 110 grain at 50 yards. 1-2 seconds between shots. I made a few minor adjustments on the scope during these 60 rounds (should have left it alone. It's shooting a little high and right now but I was too tired to mess with it anymore.

Overall I don't feel like I did too bad considering I wasn't focusing on max accuracy as much as getting back on target with a little speed

Oh and the 1911 performed awesome like always

The p238 was pretty impressive for a pocket pistol

The nephew's rossi, well it's a rossi but he likes it lol

oh you're a high roller, huh, measuring groups with ones and fives? I'm so poor I have to measure my groups with dimes :emotions33:

Just messing with you. Glad you could get out and teach a young one.

Oh, and the cost of all that rimfire ammo, too! :iranmaybe:

Is it poor or a better shot to measure with dimes? :ROFLJest:

I'll take my time when we go out next and try to put 10 rounds in a quarter size hole :peace:
