Well I broke down an purchased a S&W .500 magnum with a 10.5" barrel. Now I can't wait to shoot it.

Locally there is only 2 ranges that will allow you to shoot a S&W .500 Magnum. I will not be able to get to one of them until the day before Thanksgiving.

The double plug is very necessary. Nope both ranges are indoor ranges. There is only one local outdoor range here. I am not sure if they even allow the .460 or the .500 to be shot there.
