I stand behind Romney on this. Why should PBS (as great as it is) get federal dollars to keep running. Aren't they always running telethons to raise money anyhow? If a network cannot sustain itself without Federal dollars then maybe it needs to go. We need to stop the spending and borrowing and sometimes it's going to hurt.

I agree that it's chicken feed (pun intended) in the grand scheme of things but it's a start. And yes it's a diversion from the main issues but Obama won't leave it alone.
