I like the clean sweep idea. They are all in it for the power trip.

I like this idea but the reality of the situation sucks because the next question is who takes their place. It does no good to vote a bad republican out only to have them replaced with a worse dumbicrat. I think one answer is to be more involved all the way down to the local levels and help some better options move up the ranks.

Really, anyone who went along with exempting themselves from a law they voted in needs to be booted out. When they vote a law in then they should set the example and follow it just like everyone else.

Out with the old and in with the new shows them who is in charge. There are some good conservatives but their voting records need to be posted.

I say anybody who's been there for more than three terms needs to go..now. Enough with lifetime politicians..Demos and Reps included.

WASHINGTON — Republican Sen. John McCain insisted he is "more pro-Russian" than President Vladimir Putin, accusing Putin of corruption, repression and self-serving rule in an opinion piece for Pravda newspaper answering the Russian leader's broadside last week in The New York Times.

"I am pro-Russian, more pro-Russian than the regime that misrules you today," McCain wrote. "I make that claim because I respect your dignity and your right to self-determination."

"President Putin doesn't believe in these values because he doesn't believe in you," McCain wrote. "He doesn't believe that human nature at liberty can rise above its weaknesses and build just, peaceful, prosperous societies. Or, at least, he doesn't believe Russians can. So he rules by using those weaknesses, by corruption, repression and violence. He rules for himself, not you," McCain wrote.

Makes McCain sound like a commie to me..."I am pro-Russian"..whatever comrade. This guy needs to retire to the old folks home with his medication and tv guide.
