Didn't know I was representing a "class"?? Just stating my opinion.
And although we seem to keep butting heads on these discussions, I'm not directing the critizism on Kwo51 personally. I welcome an informed, spirited debate as much as anyone. I come into most things with my own biases and opinions. Those opinions are not set in stone. I have lived long enough to gain much knowledge. I have also aquired enough wisdom to realize that I am not always correct
Also, let me be clear. I am not a fan of Pres. Obama. I never voted for him. I don't back his policies, in fact I actively campaign against much of his agenda. I don't consider myself a Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal. If I would have to label myself it would be a "socially moderate libertarian" (if there is such a thing)
But I prefer to focus on the policy instead of attacking the man. The name calling (Obummer, Ostupid, etc.) just seems juvenile and detracts from our serious gripes against his administration.
I've seen references to his middle name being Hussien and correlations drawn to Saddam Hussien....Really? that is all people can come up with?...seems quite trite and lazy as an attack against a man.
It's similar to those that had issues with Romney being a Mormon. My opinion is that I don't really give a crap what day of the week you pray to your deity, or if you pray at all.
But when/if that mythology begins to form your governing decisions, then we have a problem.
