Is there a kind of shuko/ashiko (climbing claws) which works on all trees?

I am sorry this is not exactly a weapon but is there a kind of shuko/ashiko (climbing claws) which works on all trees?

I have no idea. But if I were to consider climbing a tree, I'd use the climbing spikes/spurs and belt that utility people use to use. Just don't let any tree huggers catch you hurting those poor trees.

Bashlin, kline ,bucking ham all make hooks for poles , tree hooks are longer. Hands need to remain free to balance or grabbing. Over 30 years on these tools. You could climb up a rope with proper gear if rope can be put in top of tree.
