Right now you can if you look for it just a little find ammo at 50 cents a round all day long.
if u are willing to do steel case even less.

That's not cheap BUT its not like twice as much as pre panic.

Agreed, I am sitting on my .556 But still looking for more. I will not shoot steel cases, I can find that at 2 or 3 shops in my area but its just dirty as hell. I shoot my federal xm193 .556 & American eagle .223. Just my preferance......Concealed 27

I love the PMC XTAC as SHTF ammo.
PMC is a supplier to the ROK military and this seems to be their same milspec ammo.

Their lower tier is the bronze which I used to stash as training ammo burnt thru both cases since the beginning of the panics for training.

My SHTF stash ( LC XM855 and some PMC Xtac M193 and PPU M193 ) is still largely intact.

even though I have been making a dent in my XCat for trainingammo which is a bit of a waste but as long as I will have enough ammo as I do I wont buy more unless its match grade or other specialty ammo.

Just read that there is now a glut of ars out there. I hope so would like one in 308.

I am not sure if we are quite to the glut stage yet. But probaly soon.
Maybe faster than I thought.

I was waiting until the end of the year for it. Maybe it will come sooner
