We have so many of then these days. Post your experience here. Who do you like the best?

not my personal expirience, but my dad carried a nickle plated Colt 1911 for 23 years on the Chicago PD.

Before they knew it was cocked and locked.Great gun I like my kimber CDP 4". I would like a L.B.or Wilsom ,Vickers and a host of other $3000. guns in 1911 style.Para P14 sleeps next to my head at night.

My Springfield Armory M1911A1 compensated pin gun. I won a $5000 shooting competition in 1990 using this handgun.

I only own one so of course its my favorite but I have shot a few others that didnt compare. Sig Sauer TacOps

I am impressed with my Sigs, one hell of a 1911 for the money. And I have some High ends to compare it to.

I have three 1911s. One is a Colt made by Clark Custom Combat made in 1981. The other is a Colt Railgun made for the 100th Anniversary and the other is a Kimber CDP II that I have had coated with the Black-T process. I really can't decide which one I like best.

I love my two Springfield Armory M1911A1 pistols. One is a pin gun with a compensator, and the other is a stock M1911A1 with a coned barrel and TungCarbide recoil spring guide. 47 ounces.
