Went to the range again with Grandad. Had a blast doing it and got to use his Beratta 9mm as well it was fun.

Some of these are with the 9 (Like the Zombie target) and the rest are the .45. Only 2 targets are with the 9.

Looks like you did pretty good. There are some good groups in a few of those.


I wish my dad's was closer. He's got 160 acres. There is an area we call the horseshoe where we shoot. It's probably 300 yards deep and 50 years wide. It's an area where the previous owner had sold dirt to the county to make the state hwy that runs across the front of the property, so it's like you're in a valley that is perfect for shooting since you're shooting into hillsides about 30feet tall. A very safe place to go. I've got real estate for sale signs on metal frames that we use for putting our targets on. But, with gas prices, it turns out cheaper to go to the range in the long run, but I can't shoot my rifles there. I didn't go shooting all summer. Kinda sucked.

It sucks that it isn't closer but that sounds like a sweet setup. I am jealous.

Yeah some of my groups were decent..... but not as good as I would like. I am working on it. I do think I am getting use to shooting my .45... my hand doesnt ache as much today.
