15 States Petition to Secede

Ha, I don't believe it but it's sure would be interesting to see how this would play out.

Well....maybe I should believe it. here's the online White House petition for North Carolina. Even if they get the 25K signatures doesn't mean anything will happen. It can and most likely will be refused.

After further investigating, "States" have not formally petitioned to secede. Individuals from those states have started petitions. Big difference. Anybody can go to the White House website and sign in and start a petition. It takes 25K signatures to even get their attention. Then it will grind it's way through the process which would result in denial.

Can you imagine oil coming from Texas, Louisiana and North Dakota being considered Forgien oil. Needing a Passport to get to Florida. It could be very interesting when you think about it.

The more that States became their own Countries, where would crime go?

My thought is, they would migrate to cities that are still within the United States as laws and punishment would be clearer. The appeal process would become much shorted and in States like Texas, Capital Punishment might be as close as the nearest tree.

Would blood run in the streets?

No, but our children would be able to play in the streets without fear again. Doors could be left unlocked and our communities would become communities again.

On the flip side, the remaining US states would become playgrounds for the criminals as Rights and Freedoms are slowly stripped.
