Has anyone heard from springfield? My friend has not but I found a statement on another post that was not encouraging.

I received an email from them that they believe they have found the problems and are working diligently on getting the weapons back to their owners as quickly as possible.

Heard today they should start shipping back by the end of October.

There has been a warning not to use this gun . They will pay to ship both ways and fix problem. I have been told all xds both 45 and 9mm have been recalled. I don't know that for sure,but it should be on their web page.

Yes, all have to be sent back the 9mm and .45.
