I'm tired of meat going bad in the freezer. Anyone here have any experience with vacuum sealers?

I have owned a couple over the years. I really like the newer Foodsaver that stands up versus lying flat. Have had it for 3 years so I forget the model number. It has 2 speeds in case you are sealing wet food. It also has an accessory hose that is super helpful. Sign up for the Foodsaver emails, couple times of year they will send out some awesome coupons. I got mine 1/2 off that way.

What machine are you using? Do you like it?

It's a Rival "Seal-a-meal". I think my mom gave it to us for Christmas a few year back. We used it for sealing bulk hamburger purchases a few times, but other than that it just sits in the cupboard and collects dust. Works good at sealing russian ammo tho.
