Good info! Exactly why I've been thinking of selling my .40 for a 9mm. for the longest time and that would be for follow up shots. But realistically, I don't see this happening and since bigger is better, a shotgun w/ slugs for home defense and I'll keep my .357 mag for camping/hiking.
But I think the main thing for a defense handgun is comfort, ease of use and training.

Agreed, I love my glocks 9mm/.40 cal but I shoot at least once every 2 weeks....altering weapons depending on my ammo situation. I am much more accurate with G27 than the G19....Only because thats my main carry piece. I have no issues with accuracy on with the 19, just used to the G27...JMHO, you want somthing u can control. My G30 (.45) has less recoil than My G27 (.40)
