Recent Range Trip

My son and I went to the range last Sunday afternoon.

Shot some .22LR at paper with my Savage Mark II FV-SR then moved on to bust some clays.

I took my 20 gauge NEF Pardner single shot. I haven't shot trap in about 25 years, my son, nearing 19, has never done it though he's been shooting since he was 5.

After my own practice shot I handed the gun to my son and he knocked down at least his first 20 clays. Made me proud and he had a great time.

We were shooting my 25 year old reloaded shells. They all went bang.

sounds like a great time with your son. My father owns a weapon but does not shoot, I hope I can find someone to pass what I know on. Well see no to old to have a kid but getting there....lol I'm glad you had a good time, nothing beats it....Concealed 27

yeah but its been awhile since we did it.... Need to see about get a little more ammo and then maybe we can all hit the range again. I really want to get back to using my XDs..... I just got my 7 rounds mags and haven't even had a chance to use em yet
