radar for weapons

Hi everyone!

in the last months, while I was hunting with my son, I was wondering if there is a radar suit for weapons, beacause one of the big difficulties in hunting is to actually find an animel to hunt...

did anyone heard about a radar for weapons?

thanks

radar

Hey guys.

I'm not joking about it. I heard about some kind of a radar that knows about movements on my area like animels and stuff.

Did'nt you heard about this anything?

Come to think of it, we had one of those systems mounted on the F-16's I used to work on. For just the two pods without the associated equipment it ran just over 4 million. But man, there was no where prey could hid...... Gotcha

They now have TrailCams that can sinc with your smartphone. I guess you could hang a bunch of them in the forest and watch each one with your phone to find out where the critters are.

But as Silver-Bolt said, doesn't that take the fun out of it??

Wow lol

Just to entertain the idea I'm not sure how a radar would benefit you unless you were at a very flat place that's sandy (or similar). Radar works by reflecting siganls off of objects. So in a wooded or even grassy area you'd have zero targets as your screen would be completely green.

Here's my current position. I'm at the crosshair

Notice the 2 objects at roughly 270° (left of the crosshair). That's 2 things sticking out of the water. The grass behind that is probably about 2' tall and you can see the radar paints a nice picture of it

Here's another target at roughly 330°. It's a small fishing boat that's close to the bank

See how the radar does not reflect off of the water since it's flat? Some kind of thermal imaging would probably be a better bet and a hell of a lot cheaper
