I been reading mnaulas foer decades but CONTACT is among the very best.
Does a greta job of explaining small unit tactics to the layman or ( as in my case) the rusty military guy.
Coveres applications civilians might face such as bugging out in a vehicie convoy and displays intelligents nuances none of this "shoot 'em all" mentality when meeting anyone new SHTF.
Patriot Dawn is a novel form of the manual and i highly recommend both.
