I would certainly recommend getting your permit. The more of us there are, the better. Besides, every day the news is filled with people who were convinced they didn't need a gun to go to the store, or stop for gas, or sit on a park bench while their kids played. Whenever someone tries to tell me that they don't need a gun, I always tell them that I hope for their sake that they are right.
