Yep, that is what the ATF sight says. Has it changed at some point? I know I have heard 7 years more than once and, IIRC, at least once was from an ffl. Anyway, it isn't forever, which I have also heard before.

"Forever" was sort of just thrown out there. Meaning - a long time. Just a general term. Not the literal "forever". :bleh:
