PATHETIC: Liberals Start Petition To Have Obama Declare Martial Law To Block Trump Presidency

With Donald Trump's inauguration around two weeks away, some leftists are calling on a new tactic to keep the President-elect out of the White House: Martial law. That's right, a handful of delusional liberals are demanding, through a change.org petition, that President Barack Obama declare martial law until it is discovered whether or not Trump and Pence had any "knowledge about any and all Russian interference" in the presidential election.

The Petition reads:

Until we know fully if the 2016 Presidential election had been tampered with by the Russians; our country is under a serious security risk and to appoint a special non-partisan commission to discover whether or not President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice president-elect Michael Pence had knowledge about any and all Russian interference.

As of the writing of this article, the petition, which is several weeks old, has gathered a grand total of 143 supporters.

Looks like declaring military control might be a bridge too far...even for most liberals.

It's amazing to me how far they'll try to go. Absolute desperation. Martial law is nothing to take too lightly. The first thing that would happen is the Constitution would be suspended essentially taking away any and all rights we have. That's, no rights at all.

There would be no freedom of speech, no freedom of the press, no freedom of assembly and you could be arrested at any time for any reason whatsoever.
For the duration of the “emergency”, the military would be in control. There would be troops in the streets, a curfew would almost certainly be imposed, and armed checkpoints would be set up.
If the “emergency” lasted long enough, we would probably see authorities go house to house confiscating firearms, ammunition and food supplies.
And perhaps most troubling of all, “dissidents” and “subversives” would likely be rounded up and imprisoned.

Are you willing to allow that to happen just because you don't like the president elect? If you're that desperate, you need to be psychologically evaluated.

Believe me or not, the hard truth is that you aren’t real. I turn off my TV or shut down my computer, and you cease to exist. Once I am done with you, I go back to the real world until I want you to entertain me again.

I don’t care that you think BP executives deserve the death penalty. I don’t care what you think about the environment. I don’t care if you believe fracking is bad. I don’t care if you call for more gun control. I don’t care if you believe in catastrophic human-induced global warming. And I could care less that you supported Hillary for President. Get back into your bubble. I’ll let you know when I’m in the mood for something pretty or scary or funny.

And one other thing. What was with all this “I’ll leave the country if Donald Trump wins”? Don’t you know how stupid that made you sound? What did you think my reaction was going to be? I better not vote for Trump or we’ll lose Whoopi Goldberg? Al Sharpton? Amy Schumer? And several more. Leave. I don’t care! And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. Oh by the way, is Clinton returning any of the money you so generously donated to her election?

Make me laugh. Make me cry. Even scare me. But realize this, the only words of yours that matter are scripted — just like your pathetic little lives.
