Mine was kinda interesting. My wife made plans to go to Carolina Beach and have Thanksgiving with her brother and his wife. At least that's what I heard. So we get down there (3 hour ride) and find out they were the door busters at the K&W restaurant at 10:30 in the morning. They've already had their Thanksgiving dinner (actually brunch). And by the way, everything else will be closing around 4:00pm.
I guess I was an idiot to assume Thanksgiving meant dinner. We get to a Food Lion to get our dinner. I go in thinking maybe a rotisserie chicken sounds half decent. Nope! All sold out. To shorten the story I had three nuked cheddar brats with spicy mustard and half a bag of chips. Not your usual thanksgiving feast that mom use to make. I'm thankful for a lot of things but dinner wasn't what I expected. She definitely needs to work on her communication skills.
Anyhow, hope all your thanksgiving gatherings were just what you wanted. This was one thanksgiving that will not become a tradition.
