I've got the 140. I also have a 740 Slim. Very comfortable gun to carry. I carry "Condition One" so I sorta like having the safety on the 740. But I have also carried a Glock 30 and an XD40 both of which don't have the manual safety.

I agree for conceal carry especially I really feel much more comfortable with a external safety.
