China has never been our friend. They have long memories, in the thousands of years, and they remember the Boxer rebellion, plus who has been helping Formosa, AKA Taiwan, against them ever since the Generalissimo fled there ahead of the communist assassins. They are still communist, and will be very happy to take down the parts of the US they don't already own. After all, such a weapon would leave the real estate intact for re-occupation. This is probably why they fought against the new Red Dawn having Chinese troops in it - too close to reality.

Hypothetically speaking,

Maybe they realize the US cannot pay them back and want to take land in trade. That's why an EMP could put us out of business while they invade. An EMP will just make us deaf and blind but won't cause any permanent damage like a nuke would. All they'd need to bring the necessary parts to get the grid back up again and they could move right in.

The one's who don't fight to the death will end up in FEMA camps or possibly as slaves. This is just one thought. Who knows what they are really thinking?

yeah, but remember its china building it. they dont make the best equipment. all the good things from china have bluprints from somewhere else. all they do is put it together. with their history of making their own stuff, most likely it will go off on their property. knock themselves out.
