Have you ever heard of Birdsongs in Mississippi? They developed a coating for just about everything - especially weapons. They are now making rifles - AR type. These rifles are extremely accurate and reliable. I am having one made in the 7.62 X 39 caliber. They are piston rifles. Well, worth looking into. Birdsong is very tested - look at their list of customers. I've had Black-T put on my Remington 870 and my Kimber CDP II plus the mags. Once the coating is on, it reduces the need for lube and it doesn't wear. Looks brand new for years to come. This stuff is magic. Birdsong's takes your weapon apart and coats every part then reassemblies it and ships it back to you. That is what they did to my Kimber.
