Center fire guns I will usually dry fire, with a few exceptions dry firing a .22 is a huge no no since the firing pin hits the breach face and damages it.
Just a quick update, have roughly 1000 rounds through it so far. Not a single issue with shooting commercial and reloaded brass, I believe it would handle steel as well but I'm reluctant to do that to such an expensive rifle. I intend to buy an extended Rail (Midwest most likely) to get my hand...
And most rifles won't make any sound due to having a last round bolt hold open.
Exceptions would be the AK series of rifles, G3, FS2000 and a few other euro rifles.....just something else to consider.
I want an FN PS90 in pretty much any other caliber, 5.7 is to hard to find and is expensive but the compact bottom ejecting design of the PS90 is awesome.
I had a chance to check one of these out at a LGS, very nice rifle with excellent fit and finish....the stock is the only thing that felt out of place.
Thanks guys, I'm all for the tacticool toys but something just feels right about a nice revolver.
They do come in the 8 shot variety, that extra hole is pricy though. .357 Magnum - Smith & Wesson
My dealer owned me a favor and made me a hell of a deal on a S&W 686 plus..... I've long lusted for a 7 shot .357 Mag so it was good timing.
DA trigger pull needs some work but that is to be expected with a stock trigger.
