    Old Military 22 trainers

I got the Remington 513T at the CMP South Store for $125 and the M2 on GunBroker. I have added some pictures to the original post and will take and add some more soon.

    The Best

I have two High Noon Holsters and most likely will be ordering a few more in the future. I have one for my Sig P239 and one for my Sig P220 Elite Carry - both of these holsters are of the highest quality. They fit and wear extremely well and are also very comfortable. I can't say enough good...

    Birdsong's

Birdsong is very tested - look at their list of customers. I've had Black-T put on my Remington 870 and my Kimber CDP II plus the mags. Once the coating is on, it reduces the need for lube and it doesn't wear. Looks brand new for years to come. This stuff is magic. Here is a picture of my...

Got something I had been eyeballing for a long time.

A friend of mine had one of these and it was difficult to operate when speed was important. He sold it and bought an Arsenal SGL21 AK-47.

Prepping for new assault weapons ban.

Rifles, ammo and food in that order.

    Mini 14...

The Mini 14s are very nice rifles but ... You can't get spare parts for them (except from Ruger at their price) and you have to buy the mags from Ruger (I haven't seen a third party mag that works well in the Mini-14 yet). A good AR or AK will work just as well and for about the same price.

    Arsenal AKs

I have an Arsenal AK-47 SGL-21 that is really nice and if you can find one they are not over priced yet. Accurate and reliable - It doesn't get much better

    Kimber Ultra Carry II

I also like the Kimbers. I have a Kimber CDP II with a four inch barrel and full size frame. This is really a nice weapon. I've had it Black-T ed. Picture - http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l614/b52_driver/DSC_0036.jpg

    45 with a decocker

I have a few Sigs and really like all of them a lot. My favorite Sig is my Sig P220 (45 ACP) and it has a decocker. My P220 is a Sig Elite Carry in stainless steel. I have found that this Sig is very reliable and it very accurate. Picture -...

.357 SIG ::love it or hate it?

I really like the 357 Sig. I have only shot the round in my Sig P229 so I can't tell you how well it odes or doesn't shoot in other pistols. I have found it to be very flat shooting and accurate as well.

    Always have a backup!

I carry a Sig P238 as a back up with Critical Defense loads in it. I just slip it in my front pants pocket with a pocket holster.

What is your self defense load?

I've started using Critical Defense and Critical Duty. I've shot this ammo in my Sigs and Glocks and have not had any issues. It shoots as accurately as I can so I've been happy with it. Check it out!

    Old Military 22 trainers

I have two old military training rifles that were used to train our troops during WW II. One is a M1922 M2 trainer (rebuilt in 1942) and the other is a Remington 513T (built in June 1943). These rifles are very accurate especially the M2. They are a blast to shoot and since they shoot 22 ammo...

    WW II Weapons

I collect and restore WW II weapons, mainly M1 Garands and M1 Carbines. I have over ten M1 Garands and over five carbines. They are fun and challenging to find, purchase and restore.

    Rusty's Rags

Have you tried Rusty's Rags yet? They are really good! I use a few for initial cleaning of my weapons - they get pretty dirty but do a great job. Then I use a fresh - clean one that I wiped my my weapons down with about once a month. Real quick and clean with no mess.

    Birdsong's

Have you ever heard of Birdsongs in Mississippi? They developed a coating for just about everything - especially weapons. They are now making rifles - AR type. These rifles are extremely accurate and reliable. I am having one made in the 7.62 X 39 caliber. They are piston rifles. Well...

    Lookin at shotguns

I looked and I did the research, and in the end, I decided that I wanted a Remington 870 Police edition. My local gun dealer got a 870 just like I wanted and it was a Remington Police demo model - so it was broken in. I got it at a real good price. I think the only thing I want on it is the...
