    New guy from central Tx

I prefer the 22 over the 17 because I'm a fan of bigger holes :D LEO price for a new Glock is $415 so you may want to wait until you are certified if you can. It can save you some money.

    vacuum sealer.

I have owned a couple over the years. I really like the newer Foodsaver that stands up versus lying flat. Have had it for 3 years so I forget the model number. It has 2 speeds in case you are sealing wet food. It also has an accessory hose that is super helpful. Sign up for the Foodsaver...

For a duty weapon it's hard to go wrong with the Glock. Very reliable, easy to use and super easy to work on. I have been carrying a Glock 22 as a duty weapon for 12 years. If I had my choice I would carry a Glock 21SF in .45acp as I shoot it better then the Glock 22.

Ruger 10/22 Remington 870 AR-15 Glock 22 Muzzleloader I also have a super accurate "adult" air rifle that would be great for food collection. My bow would also be great for that job.

    Ballistol

Cleaned my SR1911 today with the Ballistol liquid. It did a good job of cleaning the pistol. My judgement is still out though, want to try it on some copper fouling and plastic fouling.

Went back to where I'm from & went hunting with Dad today. This afternoon Dad and I went to the eastern part of the county to hunt a small farm. When we got there Dad started to speak with the landowner as I looked around. The landowner said he had not seen a deer on two weeks. I then...
