New 45 acp ammo

Saw a program friday night where they were firing 1300 fps 45 acp's.Missed the name of the ammo.Any one heard of it. Gave the 45 better ballistics than the 10mm.

Hope people don't run that through a stock 1911. What was the bullet weight?

230 grain and was able to be used in standard 1911 and was shown being shot on the program. I would be reluctant to shoot in anything other than a steel gun. Seems the pressure was stepped up but so was the thickness of the case. May want shock buffers in gun,which I don't use in a ccw gun. Looking for more info on the round.
