My old employer dropped all insurance benefits this year, which forced most onto ObamaCare.
It is cheaper for him to pay the penalty than to provide insurance. And the greedy, fat-ass, POS doesn't give a shit that the employees are paying 3x as much to get insurance through the exchanges.

Nice that our government forces people to buy something they cannot afford. $350/mo. is ALOT of money for someone making $10/hr.

I signed up with my local VA instead but after hearing about this story out of Arizona I might have second thoughts...

A stunning report published by CNN's Scott Bronstein and Drew Griffin Wednesday night claims "at least 40" veterans died awaiting treatment from the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care system and many of them were on a "secret waiting list." The list was allegedly designed so the Phoenix VA could hide the long wait times veterans experienced at its facilities.

CNN claimed "top management" at the Phoenix VA were aware of the list and even defended its use after complaints from staffers. Now, CNN reported the Phoenix VA is being investigated by both the VA Office of the Inspector General and the U.S. House Veterans Affairs Committee.

Its not just the VA. All the government run health care wants you to die before treatment if you are over 55. Va wants to treat me for the poison water they fed me at LeJuene. Ya I trust them,first treatment would be a bury him an enema.

If things continue in it's current direction, this is how public health care will end up. I believe that the ACA is just the first step in what will eventually be a government controlled single payer health system. Then everything will be run like the VA example.
