WASR Opinions Needed

My son is looking for an AK styled rifle. Does anyone have experience with the Century Arms The Romanian WASR-10?

It features a 16.25" hard chrome-lined hammer forged barrel with a 1:10" twist, and is chambered in 7.62x39mm. It has an overall length of 34.25" and weighs 7.5 lbs. It comes with two 30-round double stack magazines, side mounted scope rail, classic slant brake, bayonet lug, and a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

CAI is always hit 'n' miss with their QC. Check that the front sight is true, mags lock up firmly, the bolt slides easily enough and the bolt locks up securely (check it to make sure a monkey with a grinder hasn't been at it, to 'MAKE' it fit ).

If all THOSE things check out, it's probably GTG.
