It's one of those moments in life where you remember where you were. I was working for IBM in Boca Raton Florida and was down at Broward Community College taking a management course. We heard about the explosion and found a TV to turn on to find out what happened. As soon as we saw the shuttle disintegrate and the solid rocket boosters flying aimlessly we knew it was tragic.

I was at Minot Air Force Base getting ready to face a cold day fixing jets. It was a very difficult day, and none of it was from the normal environmental stresses for the day
