What does it take to make the ruger 10 22 fire shorts? New recoil spring or bolt ?

Thank you. Shorts are a must in varmint control here. My old Ted Williams tube feed 22 will cycle all but cb caps.

For $235 get yourself a good pellet gun. Super quiet and ammo is really cheap.

Still just a basic single shot , or clip. My Ted Williams will fire 20 shorts semi-auto ,damn Rambo squirrel.

Or a better yet, a bolt action 22. With CB's, it is probably quieter than a lot of pellet guns. For that matter, even regular subs aren't bad.

If I want quiet I use Calibri's in my m6 scout. CB caps work well also just hard to find, subsonic 22's are quiet also.
