I like stories like this. These men are a special breed. I have been fortunate enough to hear some stories of what happened first hand from my grandfather who, among other things, was one of the men who liberated Dachau.

That is part of why it infuriates me that so many are eager to throw away our freedoms that these brave men fought and died for.

Read the book as a kid and have the movie Thirty Seconds Over Tokoyo..all heroes in my book.

They sure don't make them like that anymore. My great grandfather who raised me passed away when I was ten leaving me as the man of the house. He stormed the beaches of Normandy but never talked to anyone about the war until he was on his death bed. He was a great man and taught me a lot in our short time together.

In the administration we have today warriors are not hero's . They are just someone to be disarmed.
