Does anybody have one? The more I think about it, the more this cartridge seems like a good idea. All the parts, except for the barrel, are exactly the same as the 5.56, including magazines. It even allows you to use readily available and affordable 5.56 brass by simply running it through a die to open up the neck. The advantage is a bit more power and efficiency along with a better selection of bullets suitable for use on deer sized game. I was originally going to build a 5.56/223 but now I am leaning toward the 6x45, for now anyway.
