Thanks for the kind words guys. The only thing I would suggest to do differently to anyone thinking of running a similar handguard/flash hider combo is this....have steady, small hands. The handguard only clears the flash hider by about 1/32 of an inch. That's not counting the 3 threaded tabs...

I feel your pain man. Stupid me finally has everything on the big brown truck to finish the build, but I forgot to order my dang vise block to clamp the upper with. Ordered that monday so maybe that'll be here this weekend and I can actually get to work. It's hard staring at all those parts

Yeah I'd say at least that long. That's why I'm mostly shooting my 9mm carbine with cheap steel case ammo. I'll still find a decent deal on steel case every few weeks, so maybe that'll get me by. I'll have to wait until things get back semi-normal until I go back to shooting 1,000 round Saturdays
