Did my first 50 .45 ACP today. 4 grains of Alliant Bullseye powder. Hornady 230gr FMJ Field Tip bullets. 1.65 oal.

Went to do some reloading, and testing today. This is a target I played with after reloading about 40 rounds. The rounds were .45 230gr FMJFT with 4 grains of Bullseye powder. This was from 7 yards.

Do you cover yourself/the gun when you do this? Where do you put it when you unholster?

Point shooting should be practiced by all... especially if you carry. Your NPA (Natural Point of Aim) is pretty accurate out to about 10 meters, even more if you practice regularly. I am still talking about bringing the gun out to NPA with a 2 handed grip, not the aim from the hip stuff...

It's a beautiful Manland! :win: He hand built all of the shelving, cabinets, storage bins and almost everything else in there. Every tool is always in it's place, and there usually isn't a speck of dust in the shop. Today it's a mess because he has been too busy getting ready for the wedding.
