Check eBay for Lone Wolf barrels. I helped a friend get one last month to convert a G33 to a G27. Cost was around $100 and it shoots great.

I've only shot them out to 350 meters (military M16 A-1) wish I had a place to shoot further now. My 20" heavy I built awhile back gets boring on the 100 yards range. We shoot water bottles all day at 100 yards with it.

Yes, I ended up with two uppers during this build but am going to use the YHM since it is marked 6.8spc. The other will be a predator gun at a later date :Big Laugh: The bolt will have to be a 6.8spc bolt & barrel but besides that your upper will all be the same.
